Megan Schaeffer, student of Bellport High School, completes professional internship mentoring program
Ms. Schaeffer, a student of Bellport High School, seized the opportunity to gain exposure to the Physical Therapy profession Feb'13.  Megan's sefl-directed and highly motivated nature was refreshing.  Ms. Schaeffer will be an asset to the profession if indeed her future takes her down that path.

Complete Rehab & Sport was featured in the September 13, 2012 edition of the East Patchogue-Bellport Long Island Pennysaver Spotlight on Professionals feature.  It is an honor to be considered as one of the 'stand out' physical therapy practices in our area.
The Annual Complete Rehab & Sport Scholarship for declared Physical Therapy Majors was awarded June 4th 2012
The 8th annual award is bestowed upon a Bellport HS senior who has declared his/her intent to enroll in an accredited PT curriculum with the goal of bettering our profession through becoming an exceptional professional.  The candidates are required to submit a written essay explaining their motivation and then undergo an interview.  Mr. Justin Hopper, the recipient for 2012, exceeded these expectations and it was the honor of myself, family and staff to reward him for his hard work.  I look forward to his inclusion in the healthcare team. 
Mr. Justin Hopper, a student of Bellport High School, completes Professional Internship May '12
A joint venture between Complete Rehab & Sport and Bellport High School allowed Mr. Hopper the opportunity to gain valuable exposure to the Physical Therapy profession.  Mr. Hopper was impressive in his intelligence, confidence, and professionalism.  Justin notes that the experience has confirmed his decision to seek further education in achieving a degree in P.T.
Ms. Elaina Saponara completes Professional Internship April '12
As a participant in Suffolk County Community College's student internship program, Ms. Saponara sought the opportunity to broaden her experience in the health field, despite her dream to pursue a nursing degree.  During the two months that Elaina volunteered her time she displayed a high level of professionalism, compassion and self-motivation.  I know she will grow to become a valued member of the health care team.
Kelly Hoffman of Suffolk County Community College's Physical Therapist Assistant Program completes Spring Clinical Affiliation
Ms. Kelly Hoffman satisfied all requirements of participation and completed her Spring Clinical Affiliation under Michele Rauer, PTA supervisor on March 23, 2012.  Ms. Hoffman excelled in the outpatient environment and demonstrated the skills necessary to become a dedicated and caring professional.  We wish her luck in all of her future endeavors.
Chris attends Clinical Cycling Symposium at NYU-March 3 2012
The one-day symposium brought together the region's foremost clinicians in the area of cycling related injury, training, nutrition and psychology.  Upon completion of the extensive training Chris feels that his expertise in treatment of the athlete, especially the cyclist, is stronger and more current.
Job Shadow Day-February 2, 2012
Complete Rehab & Sport had the pleasure of hosting two Junior students of Bellport High School for 'Job Shadow Day.'  Dorian Johnson and Brittany Grucci were a pleasure to have.  Their inquisitive and enthusiastic nature was rewarding to staff and patient alike.  They each demonstrated a level of professionalism beyond their years.  The staff of Complete Rehab & Sport is highly motivated to 'give back' to the community in many ways, but enjoy exposing our youth to the profession they have dedicated their lives to.
Complete Rehab & Sport hosts GreenArmBandits cycling team 2012 kick-off meeting-February 18, 2012
The Complete Rehab & Sport sponsored GreenArmBandits cycling team held their annual kick off meeting at the facility.  The team is looking forward to the upcoming season and promoting the healthy lifestyle practiced by CRS.  In addition, the GAB's appreciate the ongoing support of the CRS family and hope to 'make them all proud.'  You can follow the team's 2012 season through their site
